HiFi 101 Rega Top End Experience!

A report on a visit I paid T Audio in Brighton, to hear its upper end Isis and Osiris CD player amplifier. Rega is not known for its hi end stuff - they are usually on the production of household-focused mid-range hifi separates, which sound better than many other products in the respective price ranges. For example, the RB251 tonearm is only about 100 pounds, but it is in many non-Rega decks much more expensive than the humble P2 for which it was designed. For they at, an amplifier andCD-player, which together cost £ 12,000, they have thought they could produce something quite remarkable ... That's not to say that I've ever expenditures justify this kind of money on hi fi, but it gives the wannabe audiophiles strive for a sound, if the fine tuning of the system. I would have liked to have heard, the Osiris to have with vinyl, but that was not possible today. But I have faith that CDs - even those Loudness War - may sound good, and I bought a couple of speaker cables that I hopetweak a couple of hiccups in my CD player. CD I've been testing: This Charming Life (song "This Charming Life" and "Goddess of Change") by Joan Armatrading Beyond Skin (song "The Pilgrim", "The Conference" and "Beyond Skin") NITIN SAWHNEY hope for The Hopeless (song "San Francisco" and "Make You Crazy") Brett Dennen Peasants, Pigs & Astronauts (songs "The Sound Of Drums" and "Namami Nanda") Kula Shaker can see how you let me a jolly good game!
